Lautenwerck: The Long Lost Baroque Instrument

Most of us are familiar with instruments like pianos and organs. Some of us might even know about harpsichords. But not many of us have probably heard of a lautenwerck. That’s because no lautenwercks—also called a lute-harpsichord—survived the 19th century.
